Punjab Congress gets four new Vice Presidents

Congress President Sonia Gandhi Tuesday appointed four Vice Presidents of the party`s Punjab unit, responsible for different regions of the state.

New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi Tuesday appointed four Vice Presidents of the party`s Punjab unit, responsible for different regions of the state.
Tarlochan Singh has been given the responsibility of Doaba region while O P Soni will be the in charge of Majha, AICC General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi said in a statement here. Gurdeep Singh Kangar and Charanjit Singh Channi have been given the responsibility of the sprawling Malwa region. Gandhi had appointed Gurdaspur MP Partap Singh Bajwa as the President of the Punjab unit of the Congress. He succeeded former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. PTI
