Chandigarh: Rains lashed many parts of Punjab and Haryana for the second consecutive day on Sunday, a MeT department official said.
Chandigarh received incessant rains leading to a dip in temperature, a MeT Department official said here.
Most parts of Punjab, including Patiala, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Mohali, Ropar and Jalandhar also received rainfall, the official said.
In Haryana, Karnal, Panchkula, Kalka, Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra were also lashed by rains, the official added.
Following the rainfall, the day temperatures hovered below normal level at some places in the two states, with mercury hovering in the range of 28-32 degrees Celsius.
