Chandigarh: In the times of austerity, the Congress government in Haryana has decided to shower on its ministers posh new cars.
As per reports, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has given a go ahead to his ministers to pick new luxury cars as per their choice. These would replace cars which the ministers had got only two years back.
Sources said the ministers are likely to go in for Hyundai Santa Fe, with a price tag of around Rs 25 lakh.
Among the other choices are Toyota Camry (Rs 23 lakh) and Hyundai Sonata (Rs 20 lakh). The purchase has already been approved in-principle by the state finance department.
