RSS can change the DNA of those refusing to chant 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai': Haryana minister

Chandigarh: Outspoken Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Friday added fuel to the raging debate over 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' chants and said that those refusing to chant it should attend an RSS 'shakha' to resolve their confusions.

He said that “those who have difficulty in chanting 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' should attend an RSS shakha and all their confusions will be resolved.”

“RSS has the capability of changing the DNA of anti-national elements,” ANI quoted the minister as saying.

Earlier, he had supported yoga guru Baba Ramdev's controversial remarks that he would have "beheaded" people for refusing to chant 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' if there was no law to stop him.

Baba Ramdev has reflected the feelings of the people of the country, Vij said in Chandigarh on Monday.

“It is our culture, the country's law that such people are being tolerated. If this had happened in any other country, they would not be tolerated," said Vij.

Anil Vij is a five-time BJP MLA from the Ambala Cantt constituency and is known for his outspoken nature.
