Chandigarh: A sub inspector of Food and Supplies department in Haryana was Friday arrested by the state vigilance bureau while he was allegedly taking a bribe, in Rewari district of the state.
Anil Kumar, SI, posted in Bawal area of Rewari district was caught by the bureau yesterday while he was allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 4,000 from a depot holder for ration supply, vigilance spokesman said today.
A case has been registered under relevant section of Prevention of Corruption Act in Gurgaon Police Station of the Bureau.
