Gurgaon: Even as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is yet to announce a chief ministerial candidate in Haryana, names of Union Minister Sushma Swaraj and party leader Krishnapal Gurjar for the post are reportedly already doing rounds.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who belongs to Haryana, was actively campaigning in the state for the Assembly polls till October 15.
Meanwhile, sources have said that the name of Union minister and former state BJP chief Krishanpal Gurjar is also coming up as a probable party's chief ministerial candidate.
An MP from Faridabad, he has strong support from the Gurjar community in the state.
According to latest trends, the party is leading in the state with 51 seats.
BJP state in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya expressed confidence and said that he is hopeful that the party will win over 60 seats.
