Rohtak: Two people were killed in a hospital ward here when unidentified gunmen opened fire at them early Thursday, police said.
Tejveer Singh, 31, and Parveen Kumar, 35, were killed in the incident at the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) here, about 70 km from New Delhi.
Police said the attackers came in a black vehicle and fired at the two men, also injuring the security guard of the hospital.
"Both of them died before making any statement. Doctors tried to provide them medical help, but could not save them," Station House Officer (SHO) Ramesh Kumar told reporters.
Personal enmity is believed to be the reason behind the attack.
Parveen, who hailed from Jind district, had come to the hospital to meet a patient.
