Chandigarh: Two women constables have been dismissed in Haryana's Sirsa district for allegedly tampering leave records of colleagues, an official said Friday.

Baljeet Kaur and Sarvjeet Kaur were posted in the office of Sirsa Superintendent of Police Satinder Kumar Gupta.

"We found the constables guilty of tampering with the leave records of employees. They were suspended in February and a departmental probe was initiated," Gupta said. Now they have been sacked, he said.
