Rewari (Haryana): A youth was arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year old girl in Kotia village, 36 km from here, police said on Thursday.
Ved Prakash Yadav was produced in a Mahendergarh court, which remanded him to 14-day's judicial custody.
Police said, when the girl, a class X student was returning home from her school yesterday, Yadav allegedly raped her.
The police has registered a case of rape, wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation as well as under a section of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offence Act-2012, against the accused.
