5 signs you may have heart attack

New Delhi: Heart attack is one of the deadly diseases which may prove fatal if not treated on time. It is regarded as the leading cause of death for people over the age of 40.

A heart attack happens when blood supply to this vital organ gets blocked. The most common cause of a heart attack is sudden and complete blockage by a freshly formed blood clot due to which the heart is deprived of oxygen.

Here are few signs you should not ignore:

-If you experience severe chest pain with shortness of breath, don't take it lightly and get yourslf checked.

-Fatigue is a common heart attack symptom.

-Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck or arms is also a sign of heart attack.

-Sweating unusually, alongwith a feeling of clammy palms and dizziness is also a warning sign.

-Feeling of indigestion with sysmtoms like pain or tightness in the arms, shortness of breath and jaw pain.

So, don't ignore these signs and stay healthy.
