Anti-malaria campaign launched in Delhi
New Delhi: The Tony Blair Faith Foundation Wednesday launched a programme here for raising awareness about malaria.

The Where`s The Net programme features a mosquito net which is considered the cheapest protection against malaria. The net has been to 26 countries before coming to India.

"In India, the net will travel to 15 locations which are considered high risk for malaria. In 13 locations, the net will be hosted by schools as these are perhaps the best place to create awareness in a community," said foundation fellow Aparajita Bharti.

The campaign works towards malaria eradication.

the malaria is the disease of poor. if the net will be hosted by schools may i now hoe many children from poor family is attending the schools. the government has chalkout a permanent planning to keep the residential area free from stagnation of water, breeding places of mosquitoes and give the presumptive treatment after checking the blood of all the people living in mosquito breeding areas. the insecticides must be sprayed atleast twice in all breeding places during july-august and september-october.
