London: Two researchers have claimed that the bugs are now developing potentially lethal mutations in order to beat domestic cleaning agents that have been designed to kill them.Professor Laura Piddock and Dr Mark Webber, from the University of Birmingham, showcased how the common food bug salmonella was able to develop resistance to cleaning agent biocide, which are used in soaps and washing-up liquids, the Daily Express reported.The bug was also able to survive antibiotics.
