New Delhi: People in Delhi can soon find out the dose of ultraviolet (UV) rays they are exposed to every day and take necessary measures to prevent sunburn. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) is planning to issue UV rays advisories at 10 locations across the national capital.Invisible UV rays are emitted by the sun and overexposure to them is said to be the major risk factor for most skin cancers.
