Kolkata: A suspected case of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome was reported in West Bengal in the last 24 hours, a health official said today.

"One person from Burdwan was admitted to the Burdwan Medical College and Hospital with AES symptoms in the last 24 hours," said West Bengal Health Services Director Biswaranjan Satpathy.
