New Delhi: Ayurveda is a store house of a variety of herbs which help in curing various ailments. One such herb is Triphala. It comprises three different herbs namely Haritaki, Vibhitaki and Amla. It has a variety of health benefits, as it is a rich source of vitamin C and anti-fungal properties.

-Triphala powder acts as a great laxative. Just add one teaspoon of Triphala powder in lukewarm water, add a little honey and drink it just after you wake up, empty stomach. It will work wonders.

-Boil one teaspoon of Triphala powder in half-cup of water for sometime and filter the mixture. Now, add a spoon of vinegar to it and apply overnight. Wash-off with a good shampoo the very next morning to discover oil-free hair.
