Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government has claimed that the malnutrition rate in the state has come down from 61 per cent to 47 per cent in the last ten years. The efforts of state government have been a success in reducing the malnutrition level among the children in the last ten years due to which it has come down to 14 per cent,official sources said today.
Chief Minister Raman Singh has announced more than 12,000 anganwadis in the state which will include 8,226 anganwadi centers and 429 mini anganwadi centers, officialsadded. PTI
