Coimbatore: As part of the World Kidney day,
falling on March 11, a city hospital is organising a kidney
awareness rally on March 7.
NSS students from Bharathiar University, Avinashilingam
University for Women, Annai Meenakshi College of Nursing and
a general public would be among the 800 people expected to
participate in the rally, Dr S P Thiagarajan, Chairman
and Chief Nephrologist of SPT Hospitals, told reporters
Friday.
The +kidney Walk-2010+ would be presided over by Mayor R
Venkatachalam and flagged off by Commandant 105 Bn RAF, S
Elango, he said.
