New Delhi: With the festival of colours, Holi round the corner, people are busy buying colours and water guns. While everyone loves to play with colours, water guns, water filled balloons, etc, during this time, it can also cause skin-related problems such as skin allergy because of the harmful and toxic chemicals containing in colours.
Here are some tips on how you can prevent skin allergy while playing Holi with colours:
One should opt for natural colours such as henna, turmeric, marigold flowers, tomatoes and tea leaves instead of the harmful and toxic chemicals ones.
Apply a thick layer of cold cream or oil on your body before playing with colours to prevent skin allergies.
Wash away the colours from your body with water only and not by using soap or cleanser.
Wear long sleeves and full length bottoms to protect your skin from the harmful chemicals colours.
