Indian Gooseberry, as it is also known, are great for hair and prevent greying if taken at an earlier stage. Most shampoos and hair products contain Amla as a main ingredient too. All you need to do is, boil a few pieces of amla in coconut oil till they turn black. Apply the concoction on your scalp and rinse it off within a few hours. You can also drink Amla juice as an added treatment.
Using onions on your hair as a treatment is an amazing way to cure hair loss as well as greying hair. It is a rich source of catalase enzyme and has been used for centuries to treat grey hair. You can either rub half a raw onion on your scalp or do the same with onion juice. Wash your hair normally with shampoo within an hour.
Henna or mehendi is the most common treatment people resort to, to hide their grey hair. The next time you apply henna on your head, however, add some castor oil and lemon juice in the mixture. Leave it on for an hour and wash it off.
4. Fenugreek seeds:
Methi seeds, as it is also known, are an amazing supplement for overall health. To treat grey hair, simply boil some fenugreek seeds in drinking water and drink a glass daily. Or else, you can rustle up a paste of fenugreek seeds and water and apply it on your scalp.
5. Sesame seeds:
Like they say, good things come in small packages. Who knew that something so tiny could be so beneficial? Sesame seeds are a great treatment for grey hair. Simply ground some sesame seeds and mix it with a bit of almond oil. Apply the paste on you scalp and leave it on for about half an hour, then wash it off.
