New Delhi: Low sexual desire among women is a condition which is becoming very common these days. Especially if you are a working woman, then you must be spending most of your time handling work, family, kids, travelling, meeting deadlines and what not.

The brain plays an important role in regulating a woman's sexual desire. Having low sexual desire can cause personal distress, harm relationships, and may even lead to low self confidence.

But, one should not feel embarrassed about it. Here are a few reasons as to why women lose sexual desire:

Job stress

This is one of the leading factors as to why women lose sexual desire as they are too stressed which in return harms their health.

Medications

If a women has been on certain medications owing to high BP, diabetes thyroid disoders etc. All these medicines have an adverse effect on sexual desire of a women.

Relationship issues

If there is a constant rough patch in your relationship owing to personal problems, baby, societal pressures or lack of emotional satisfaction, it can lead to low sexual desire.
