places due to clear sky overnight in the state.

Key long, headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti district, was
the coldest place in the state with the low of minus 11.6 deg
C while it was minus 6.3 deg C at Kalpa in Kinnaur district,
the Met official said.

Despite witnessing sunny condition, chilly winds kept the
capital cold where day temperature was measured at 13.6 deg C
against Tuesday`s 12.6 deg C.

The night temperature in the Queen of Hills was recorded
at 2.6 deg C.

Elsewhere, day temperature in Sundernagar was recorded at
21.5 deg C while it was 19.9 deg C in Bhuuntar and 8.4 deg C
in Kalpa, the Met added.

The Met office has forecast mainly dry weather in the
lower and middle hills while there are possibilities of rain
or snow at isolated places in higher altitudes on Thursday.
