Dharamsala: A court in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday further remanded two suspected Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists, arrested on Wednesday, to six-day police custody.

Jamil Ahmed Bani and Ghulam Nabi were produced before Judge Sheetal Sharma who sent them to six-day police custody.

The two were masquerading as labourers when they were nabbed by the Himachal Police near Kotla on Pathankot-Mandi National Highway on Wednesday.

Jamil Ahmed, a self-styed District Commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, is wanted in a number of cases of blast and murder, police said.

Both the terrorists, hailing from Doda district, had sneaked into Himachal after a member of their gang surrendered to the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Security has been beefed up in the hill state in the wake of the arrest of two suspected terrorists.
