Governor seeks report on clash at BJP office

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Governor Kalyan Singh is reported to have asked for detailed report from the police about violent clashes between BJYM and Youth Congress workers at BJP office here on Thursday.

The Governor today called the Director General of Police Sanjay Kumar and Additional DGP(CID) S R Mardi and enquired about the incident and also told him to give a highly placed sources said.

Meanwhile, the government has ordered a magisterial enquiry into the incident and appointed Additional DM, D K Rattan as enquiry officer. He has been asked to submit the report within a week.
