Shimla: The 31-day-long Budget Session of Himachal Vidhan Sabha will commence here on Wednesday with the address of Governor Kalyan Singh.
The session will have 22 sittings in the House, including two Private member's days, with no recess.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who also holds the Finance portfolio, would present the Budget for 2015-16 on March 18, which would be passed on March 31.
Speaker BBL Butail had on Tuesday convened an all-party meeting ahead of the session and urged the representatives of political parties to cooperate in smooth functioning of the House.
The government is likely to bring Sports Regulation Bill, Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Bill and some other legislation during the session.
