Shimla: Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh, who has been given additional charge of Himachal Pradesh would be sworn in tomorrow.
Chief Justice of Himachal High Court, Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir would administer the oath of office to Singh at a function at Raj Bhawan tomorrow.
Kalyan Singh who left for Shimla from Jaipur by plane ?reached here this evening, a official said.
He came by road from Chandigarh as his plane could not land at Jubbar Hatti (Shimla) airport due to fog and had to return to Chandigarh.
He was received by Chief Minister Vibhadra Singh, his cabinet colleagues, senior officers and other dignitaries at his arrival at Raj Bhawan.
A ceremonial guard of honour was also given to him.
Himachal Governor, Urmila Singh, who completed the full five year term on January 24 was given a warm send off at the Raj Bhawan yesterday as she left for Raipur.
She was the first woman and third governor of the state to have completed full term in the Bhawan.
The three earlier women Governors, Sheila Kaul, V S Ramadevi and Prabha Rao did not complete the full term while the first Governor after the statehood, S Chakravarty and later justice (Retd) V S Kokeje, completed their five year term.
