Dharamsala (HP): Hinting at his return to
electoral politics, former Himachal Pradesh minister Vijay
Singh Mankotia today said he was not averse to rejoining
Congress if some "elements" in the party were weeded out.
Talking to mediapersons here, he also did not rule out
the possibility of contesting the 2012 assembly elections.
Mankotia had taken `sanyas` from politics after a
humiliating defeat in the last Assembly polls when he
contested on a BSP ticket after quitting Congress party.
He, however, did not elaborate on who these "elements"
were in his former party and how he would rejoin the Congress.
After the poll debacle, he announced `retirement` from
active politics and floated a non-political organisation
"Adalat-e-awam" to fight for the people.
