Shimla: The Students Federation of India
(SFI) on Saturday swept the Students Central Association (SCA) polls
for the 10th year in a row.
SFI made a clean sweep in Himachal University campus,
winning all the four posts of President, Vice President,
General Secretary and joint secretary, defeating nearest ABVP
rivals by huge margins.
In state capital Shimla, SFI emerged victorious in Rajiv
Gandhi college Kotshera and Centre of Excellence, Sanjauli.
In four colleges of Solan, 13 out of 16 seats were
bagged by ABVP, and three went to NSUI.
In Kangra district, it was a clean sweep by ABVP in
Regional Centre and Degree College in Dharamsala.
Out of 21 colleges in Kangra, ABVP claimed to have made a
clean sweep in 10 colleges.
In Hamirpur, ABVP wrested most colleges, but SFI swept
degree college in the heart of town.
In Una, NSUI was ahead of ABVP.
PTI
