Dharamsala (HP): After the Aman Kachroo
ragging episode, the government medical college, Tanda has landed in another controversy with the reinstatement of a senior teacher accused of sexual harassment.

Government sources confirmed that Prof R S Yadav, Head of the Department of Biochemistry, against whom allegations of sexual harassment are still being probed, has been reinstated.
However, Principal Secretary (health) P C Dhiman maintained that though he has been reinstated under service rules according to which the government can`t keep an employee under suspension for a longer period, the probe into charges
of sexual harassment against him is still on.

Yadav was placed under suspension in April last year on the complaint of a girl student of B.Sc Medical Laboratory
Technician course that he made sexual advances towwards her.

An FIR was registered against him on Jan 17, 2008.

The reinstatement of Prof Yadav has come as "surprise and shock" for the students as the student who dared to lodge
a complaint against him still studying in the college.
