Three killed in road mishap in Himachal

Shimla: Three persons were killed and one
man seriously injured when a cement laden truck fell into a
350-metre deep gorge near Bhathal in the district today,
police said.

The truck carrying four persons was on its way to
Kinnaur from Chandigarh when the driver lost control over the
vehicle near Bathal and it fell into a deep gorge, police
said.

While two persons died on the spot, another man
breathed his last in a hospital in Rampur, they said, adding
seriously injured Jitender Kumar has been referred to the
Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) here, he said.
