New Delhi: Online recruitment company
Monster.com on Tuesday announced that it has partnered ITC
e-Choupal to launch Rozgarduniya.com, a website that will
allow job seekers in rural India to access and apply for jobs.
ITC e-Choupal is a rural digital infrastructure set up
by hospitality major ITC.
Rozgarduniya.com was designed to address the challenge
companies face in finding qualified seekers in the local
markets and this alliance will provide employers in corporate
India a unique platform to access rural talent, Monster India
said in a statement.
"It is our hope to expand this unique offering to over
nine states and about 40,000 villages through the ITC
e-Choupals in future," Monster.com Managing Director (India,
Middle East and Southeast Asia) Sanjay Modi said.
Rozgarduniya.com will be launched initially in English
and Hindi and subsequently, the portal will available in other
popular regional Indian languages, the statement said.
"This initiative will enable grass-root talent to
contribute to building the markets of the future and is
aligned with ITC's vision to support inclusive economic
growth," ITC Division Chief Executive (Agri Business
Division) S Sivakumar said.
