New Delhi: An AAP MLA sustained injuries after allegedly being beaten up by a group of unidentified men at southeast Delhi's Jamia Nagar area, police said on Friday.

The incident was reported around 6.30 PM yesterday when Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan was heading back home with a few neighbours and party workers after attending a function, said police.

In his complaint, the MLA told the police that when he reached near the Holy Family Hospital, an unknown person saluted him and approached closer to interact.
