New Delhi: In a bid to reach out to Christian community, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is likely to set up an outfit - Rashtriya Isai Manch. It will be on the lines of RSS' Muslim Rashtriya Manch.
According to a report in ET, RSS has held meetings with Christian leaders to establish an organisation on the lines of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch.
A senior RSS Pracharak, associated with the Muslim Rashtriya Manch since its inception, has confirmed the plan. However, RSS is yet to take final decision on the name of the RSS' Christian outfit.
Sources said that while the nomenclature is not yet final, it is envisaged that a Rashtriya Isai Manch on similar lines be set up to build bridges of 'goodwill' with the community.
According to RSS member Indresh Kumar, on December 17, 4-5 Archbishops, 40-50 Reverend Bishops from across 10 to 12 states met and it was decided to develop a movement.
