Gorakhpur: In a fresh salvo, Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan on Tuesday said controversial BJP MP Yogi Adiyanath should get married to prove his masculinity.
When asked whether he would like to mend ties with Adityanath, the Samajwadi Party leader said: “He must tie the knot as it would help him increase his generation.”
Khan also trained his guns on BJP MP from Unnao Sakshi Maharaj who had recently described the provision of triple talaq (divorce) in the Muslim community as an injustice against women.
“It’s an insult to talk about a man who is accused of raping a young girl,” he said during a function in the Maulana Mohammed Jauhar University.
With his statements, Azam Khan, the state parliamentary affairs minister, has triggered controversies in the past.
