New Delhi: Adding to the already tense atmosphere at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, over 200 Bajrang Dal activists held a protest in front of the main gate of the prestigious varsity.

The Bajrang Dal activists raised slogans against the pro-Afzal Guru event held on Feb 9 and demanded action against those involved.

They even tried to break police barricades to forcibly enter the campus.

Meanwhile, senior Delhi-based journalist took out a march to Supreme Court to protest against the attack on scribes at the Patiala House Court, yesterday.

Earlier in the day, the Delhi High Court rejected a plea seeking NIA probe into the JNU incident that led to the arrest of students union president Kanhaiya Kumar.
