Will wipe out BJP and Congress from the country: Akbaruddin Owaisi

Hyderabad: Akbaruddin Owaisi, a legislator of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and brother of firebrand Muslim leader Asaduddin Owaisi, has reportedly said that he would wipe out the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress from the country.

Akbaruddin Owaisi was heard making the remarks in a video that has gone viral on social media.

He made the remarks during a public meeting at Baba Nagar on January 30 ahead of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections.

The AIMIM MLA called Congress leaders slaves of the Gandhis and said: “Badi dhoom se Narendra Modi ke saath iss Congress ka janaaza bhi uthayunga (will finish off Narendra Modi and Congress from the country with great fanfare).”

He also took pot shots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' slogan saying only a "chaiwala" (tea seller) has prospered after the General Elections of 2014.
