BJP demands action against Pakistan over CRPF ambush in J&K

The BJP legislators started shouting anti-Pakistan slogans as soon as the House assembled for the day and demanded "bombing" of militant camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Monday witnessed noisy scenes after BJP MLAs shouted anti-Pakistan slogans demanding action against the neighbouring country in retaliation for the attack on a CRPF convoy in the Valley that left eight personnel dead and 21 injured.

The BJP legislators started shouting anti-Pakistan slogans as soon as the House assembled for the day and demanded "bombing" of militant camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

They also demanded that the House pass a resolution to condemn Pakistan for the attack in Pampore, the deadliest on security forces in recent years.

Meanwhile, Independent MLA from Langate Sheikh Abdul Rashid demanded "justice" for five civilians who were killed in firing by the security forces during protests against alleged molestation of a school girl in Handwara in April this year.
