New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party parliamentary board will on Sunday meet at 6 pm to discuss the results of the Assembly Elections in Maharashtra and Haryana.

The party, which is hoping to win big in both the states, is likely to discuss its next course of action.

An upbeat BJP has over half a dozen names as probables for being the next chief minister of Haryana if the party gets a clear majority.

In Maharashtra, the prime contenders are Devendra Fadnavis, Vinod Tawade, Eknath Khadse and Pankaja Munde - incidentally, all are also in the running for the post of chief minister.

Though the BJP is confidently looking ahead at forming a government independently, there is also talk of a possible patch-up with its erstwhile ally of 25 years, Shiv Sena.
