New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday announced its grand plans to celebrate Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance's first year in office.

Revealing the plans, Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Ananth Kumar told the media that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a rally on May 25 in Mathura, and on May 26, he will launch a channel for farmers.

Later on May 26, the PM will hold a rally in Haryana's Karnal.

The PM is scheduled to address a public meet in Gujarat's Surat on May 27 at 5 pm and on May 27, Modi will attend a programme in Goa's capital Panaji.

The minister, addressing a press conference, said that 200 big rallies and 5,000 jan sabhas are planned across the country to publicise government works.

Besides Modi, all the central ministers, MPs will hold rallies all over the country to mark one year of government.
