Amritsar: Bomb scare hit the airport at Amritsar on Thursday morning after a suspicious bag was found on a SpiceJet flight.
ANI reported that the suspicious bag was found on the Dubai-bound SpiceJet flight at the Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport here.
According to reports, authorities offloaded all the passengers safely following the bomb scare.
A bomb disposal team is currently inspecting the bag inside the aircraft.
The aircraft has been removed from the runway and parked in an isolated spot for the search, reports said.
IANS quoted police sources as saying that the information regarding the bag was received through an anonymous call.
Flight operations at the airport have been suspended following the incident.
So far, none of the passengers have claimed the bag.
