New Delhi: In the wake of rising ceasefire violations along the International Border in Jammu and Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir, the government has been forced to undertake measures to protect soldiers.

One of the measures on National Security Advisor Ajit Doval's list is to build sophisticated residential bunkers all along the International Border and LoC.

The bunkers would help India to man the border as well as LoC even in harsh weather conditions as well as provide protection to jawans in the event of shelling from Pakistan.

Several jawans and civilians have lost their lives in Pakistani shelling over the past several months.

Most of the ceasefire violations, say experts, are aimed at helping terrorists to infiltrate into the Indian territory.
