Kolkata: Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said the Centre will not create any hurdles in the functioning of the AAP government in Delhi, but added that everybody should work within constitutional limits.

"Everybody should work within the constitutional provisions," Rajnath Singh said during a media conference at the Press Club here.

He said the Aam Aadmi Party won a mandate from the people of Delhi and the centre would extend its full cooperation.

"The Delhi government has been elected by the people. The central government will not put up any hurdles in its functioning. We will also give them full cooperation," said the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader.

He said the National Democratic Alliance government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was all for constructive cooperative federalism.

"It is our feeling and firm belief that the country needs a constructive and cooperative federalism," he said, reminding the media of the Centre's decision to increase the state's share of central revenue from 32 percent to 42 percent.
