Department of Posts to extend e-IPO facility for Indian citizens

The Department of Posts has accepted the proposal for acceptance of RTI fee from Indian citizens living abroad and residing in India through e-Post Office portal.

New Delhi: The Department of Posts has accepted the proposal for acceptance of RTI fee from Indian citizens living abroad and residing in India through e-Post Office portal.

The move came in response to a request made by Commodore Lokesh K Batra (Retd) to senior concerned officers of the Department of Posts (DOP) for creating awareness by displaying the information at each Post Office.
