New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday paid tributes for former president APJ Abdul Kalam who passed away on Monday evening.
“Dr Kalam was People's President, common man could relate to him. It's a big loss to the nation,” Kejriwal told ANI.
“He came to the Secretariat on 2-3rd July, had a great experience talking to him. He praised the initiative taken by us in the field of education,” Kejriwal said.
“He told us that first and foremost he's a teacher, and said the time he spent in teaching was the best time of his life,” the Delhi CM added, recalling his meeting with Dr Kalam.
