Gurgaon: Just seven hours after she was kidnapped from outside her college, Gurgaon Police on Monday afternoon rescued a girl from the clutches of her abductors.

Gurgaon Police Commissioner Navdeep Virk told that all three culprits and the victim were known to each other. Police have detained the accused and further interrogation into the case is on.

The girl was abducted on Monday morning in broad daylight from a busy market place near her college.

The police swung into action after the kidnapping video went viral. According to video footage from a CCTV camera installed outside a nearby hotel, the alleged kidnappers dragged the woman into a car outside DSD College on New Railway Road and sped away while eyewitnesses tried to chase the car. The white car used in the incident was without a number plate.
