Indian Army goes online for recruitment of JCOs, other ranks

Nagpur: The Indian Army has revamped its website to commence online registration for enrolment of officers and recruitment of Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and other ranks.

The Recruitment Directorate has re-designed the website.

The new set up will involve online application-based call for physical fitness test and subsequent recruitment process, Director of Branch Recruitment Office, Col M K Joshi, said at a press conference here today.

The candidates will have to register and subsequently apply on the website. The recruitment dates will be uploaded and also notified through media, he said.

Online registration will be open for 45 days prior to the scheduled recruitment. Once the candidates successfully apply online, the system will issue call up notice or the admission card, he said.

The Nagpur centre will be conducting the next recruitment rally in January 2016.
