A report published in The Telegraph, Mikhail sent the mail to MMOPL 13 days after Sheena's purported death.

While speaking to the leading newspaper, a relative of Mikhail said, he sent the mail on his mother Indrani's behest.

The relative claimed that Indrani threatened Mikhail to stop his pocket money of Rs 12,000 per month if he did not do as he was told.

According to the report, Indrani also promised to reward Mikhail with huge cash, if he continued to follow her orders.

The relative further said that Mikhail used to open Sheena's facebook page frequently as he missed her badly. He claimed that both siblings were very close to each other.

Meanwhile, according to Times of India, Mikhail has claimed in a statement given to the police that he was present in Mumbai on the day Sheena was murdered after Indrani called him to her Worli residence and spiked his drink.

Mikhail claimed that his mother Indrani tried to kill him too.

The sensational Sheena Bora murder case probe Friday night acquired a new turn with police claiming that Sanjay Khanna, former husband of Indrani Mukerjea, confessed to his complicity in the crime during a joint interrogation of three accused on a day the victim's skeleton remains were recovered.

Indrani, wife of former STAR India CEO was arrested by Khar police on August 25. She was later produced before the Bandra court, which remanded her in police custody till August 31. Indrani's driver Shyam Rai, who spilled the beans was arrested on August 25.
