Coimbatore: To celebrate the swearing-in of AIADMK Supremo Jayalalithaa as Chief Minister for the sixth time, an auto driver in Coimbatore on Monday offered his service by taking passengers for one rupee to any place in the city.

An ardent fan of late chief minister M G Ramachandran, who founded AIADMK, the 45-year old Mathivanan is running the auto rickshaw for the last 25 years.

To celebrate victory, he decided to come out with a novel idea of taking the passengers for one rupee anywhere in the city.
