How BE/BTech rank is calculated in case of a tie

Incase of a tie in over all marks between two students, the candidate scoring higher marks in Mathematics will be ranked ahead. If two candidates have same over all and mathematics score then rank will be calculated based on the marks obtained in Physics.

Also, candidate scoring higher normalised marks will be given a better grade. And, candidate having the higher absolute value (ratio of positive marks and negative marks) will get a better rank.

If a decision is still not possible, then candidates will be given the same rank.

How B Arch/B Planning rank is calculated in case of a tie

If two candidates secure the same rank then the candidate who secured higher mark in Aptitude test in paper 2 will be ranked higher.

If two candidates score same marks in the Aptitude test as well then the marks secured in Drawing test in paper 2 will be the criteria for rank calculation.

Also, candidate scoring higher normalised marks will be given a better grade. And, candidate having the higher absolute value (ratio of positive marks and negative marks) will get a better rank.

If a decision is still not possible, then candidates will be given the same rank.
