New Delhi: Security has been strengthened in Jammu and Kashmir after an alert was sounded by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) warning of a possible attack by Pakistan's ISI and Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants on Army camps.

The plan to carry out attacks in Jammu and Kathua is being planned by a top LeT militant and ISI's Colonel Masood Khan, as per news report.

Meanwhile, 4-5 militant groups of LeT and Hizbul Mujahideen are also reportedly taking the help of ISIS to enter into the Indian territory.

Security agencies intercepted and recorded the conversation of the militants which also mentions the name of ISI's Colonel Masood Khan.

Reports further state that attempts are being made to infiltrate around 100 trained militants into the Indian territory during Obama's visit and that militants have been seen moving from one bunker to another in areas along International Border and Line of Control (LoC).

The news of possible terror attack comes a day after security services had issued warning of a possible terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir and warned state governments of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh apart from strengthening security of key places in Mumbai.

Obama will arrive in India for three-day visit tomorrow in Air Force One.

Ahead of his visit, Obama had warned Pakistan that “safe havens” of terrorism are not acceptable within the country.

Security has been tightened ahead of Obama's visit and a special seven-layer security arrangement has been made for Obama.

The Indian intelligence agencies, security agencies are working in close coordination with the US Secret Service which guards the US President.

Belgian 'Malinois' dogs of the US Navy Seals have been deployed to secure Obama's retreat – ITC Maurya. They will be in service to secure Rajpath, Rashtrapati Bhawan and few other locations.

CCTV cameras have been installed at regular intervals along the route on which Obama will be travelling and on Rajpath where he will visit to attend the Republic Day parade.

He is the first US President to be invited as the chief guest for annual Republic Day parade. Obama is the only US President to visit India twice during his term in the office.

Meanwhile, the White House has said that it is “genuine honour” for the US President to be invited as the chief guest.

During his visit, he is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is likely to visit Taj Mahal in Agra. He will also hold meeting with the CEOs and business leaders.
