Even as security agencies remain on high-alert ahead of Independence Day, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued an alert that the Lashkar-e-Toiba is planning multiple terror attacks in India in the months of August and September.

New Delhi: Even as security agencies remain on high-alert ahead of Independence Day, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued an alert that the Lashkar-e-Toiba is planning multiple terror attacks in India in the months of August and September.

IB sources told Zee Media that the LeT is being actively helped by Pakistan's notorious Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) to target India.

The LeT may hijack an Indian plane, the IB fears.

The Pakistan-based terrorist group is also working on a plan to blow up a flight to Kabul.

The IB alert says that 8-10 terrorists are planning to infiltrate into India and launch multiple attacks on hotels, railway stations.
